K(no|w)Body is a game of words unfolding a constellation of meaning; it can be read as nobody, know/body, now body or no body. The Greek word praxis suggests the integration of theory and practice. We encourage proposals that incorporate, challenge, or explore these themes, but applicants are welcome to consider these topics broadly.
Formats will include talks, workshops on movement and theory, performance lectures, and discussion groups. Other formats will also be considered. In consideration of time, presentations to the entire group will be limited to 20-30 minutes, while workshops and discussions taking place in smaller groups may be longer.
Proposals should be submitted using the online form by May 18h, 2015. We will respond to all proposals by June 1st. There is a sliding scale donation of 1-5 pounds to attend.
We also welcome attendees who want to attend and participate without presenting. It is helpful to us if non-presenting participants register beforehand at K(no|w)Body Registration
